Description:- All student academic records from registration to graduation, including grade submission, student grade report generation, student status determination and other student academic related functionalities.

Balanced Scorecard System(BSC)

Description:- It is a strategic planning and management framework that is used extensively in business industry, in government and in nonprofit organizations worldwide. The framework is used to align business activities to the vision and strategy of the organization. This software project work were coordinated and supervised by the Ethiopian Ministry of Educatin(MoE). Initially a team of five people were needed from the five well established Universities in the country to delegate one of their best developers and I was one of these developers whom Jimma University delegated.
Project Objective:- To deliver harmonized BSC software to all public Universities in the country as a performance measurement tool of all their respective staffs and offices.
Contribution:- Requirement, database and system design, coding. Our mission was to understand the requirement from BSC experts and deliver a Balanced Scorecard system in just six-week time which is very limited span of time to start a project from scratch. In that time, I spent almost every minute of my time in the project room. I and my team managed to deliver the software as per the schedule.

User Management System (UAS)

Description:- A centeral User Authentication Provider for all Jimma University ICT service (Application, Network Authentication) And which can authenticat all users from central authentication server(LDAP). In this case JU users have single username and password for all ICT services.
Project Objective:- To implement Privileged identity management and upgrade the exisitng Application from Symfony1.4 to Symfony2.6 and add extra functionalities like LDAP authentication, on-line registration, account management, configuration with mail server for automatic mail creation, API functionalities for integration with other services.

Property and Procurment Management System (PPMS)

Description:- It includes two main modules The Property and The Procurment module.

Property module includes on-line item request, User Asset Card, Bin Card, Stock card, Store management, Asset clasification Item tagging and clearance, annual asset balance sheet producing, cost estimation, depreciation, wear and tear, ..., and all asset related functionalities.

Procurment module includes annual procurement planing, on-line procrument requiest, procurment process automation and tracking, supplier controlling, incoming asset(purchase, donation, ...) stocking process automation, strategic asset plan alignment producing and prcurment related functionalities.

Project Objective:- To automate the current manual paper based procurement process and property administration to user interactive web based authomation system which impliments the rule and regualtion of MoFED.

Examination Assesment

Description:- This software project ware organized by Ethiopian National Educational Assesment and Examination Agancy. This web based application is currently used by all students who take exams in national level to see their result on-line after it is processed by the system. This application also used for student placement to public universities who score public university entry mark. The system considers several parameters to compute students choice for university and field of study.

OpenClinic GA Customization

Description:- OpenClinic GA is an open source integrated hospital information management system covering management of administrative, financial, clinical, lab, x-ray, pharmacy, meals distribution and other data. The customization project was coordinated by the Belgian VLIR-IUC Project and organized at Verje University of Brussels, which enable to run the tool for sub saharan countries. Dr. Frank Verbek (frank.verbeke@vub.ac.be) and Rudy Gevaert(rudy.gevaert@ugent.be) were focal person for the project.
Project Objective:- To Customize, Install and Support OpenClinic GA for hospitals of sub saharan africa countries
Contribution:- Customization, Developing new functionalities, Language integration and focal person for East African Region.

Project Objective:- To develop in house with web based responsive multi lingual support application in the replacment of existing OpenERP application with new flexible, easily customizable, full functional and modern technologies.
